Ricky Schroder’s wife dreamed they would be the perfect couple . . . when she was 12.
Like many young girls in 1984, Andrea Bernard dreamed that she and Ricky Schroder would make a perfect couple and wrote in her journal about how much she wanted to go to the movies with him.
Like pretty much no other girl, eight years later, Andrea Bernard actually married Ricky Schroder.
It’s a cute little anecdote that Schroder mentions in Monday’s episode of the Sundance Channel’s “The Mortified Sessions,” an interview series in which celebrities open up about artifacts, photos and trinkets from their personal lives.
